UPDATE: MARCH 2024

The RRMS diagnosis of 2007 (Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis) is now being reconsidered as SPMS (Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis) which is a common result of age progression. Being in my mid-seventies, this is not a surprise. Neither is the co-morbidity label of Parkinsonism (one of the sub sets of (Parkinson’s disease.) I am now on a trial prescription of Levodopa to see if the medication is effective in helping to reduce the Parkinsonian symptoms of tremor, confusion, etc. One begins at a low dose and efficacy is not typically seen until weeks later, when the neurologist has had time to assess results and adjust the dosage. You can read more about the linkage between MS and Parkinsonism here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4187336/
